1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Arth application ("App") or any services provided by Arth Technologies Private Limited ("Arth", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Arth.

2. Description of Service

Arth is a personal finance management application that allows users to track income and expenses, manage bills and reminders, log cash transactions, view spending insights, and access financial tools. Arth is a personal financial management tool and is not a bank, payment service provider, or registered investment advisor.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• One person may maintain only one account. Duplicate accounts may be terminated.
• You must be a resident of India and provide a valid Indian mobile number.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the Service to process transactions related to illegal activities
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or similar tools on the Service

5. Financial Information Disclaimer

Any financial insights, spending analyses, or investment suggestions provided by Arth (including "Arth Brain" AI features) are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or any form of regulated financial service. Arth is not registered as an investment advisor with SEBI. Always consult a qualified financial professional for investment decisions.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Arth name, logo, app design, and all content within the Service are the intellectual property of Arth Technologies Private Limited and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without express written permission.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to provide advance notice for planned maintenance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arth shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or ₹1,000 if you have made no payments).

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the App. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via app notification or email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
